History

City Plumbing Supplies began trading in 1981 from a single site in Salisbury, Wiltshire, supplying plumbing and heating products to the local trade. For more than 20 years, the company has built its reputation of quality products and expert service and concentrated its first decade of trading on steady growth, developing existing sites and evolving its range of products and services.

In 1995, City Plumbing Supplies began a major expansion programme, and over the following seven years increased its number of branches from 11 to 70, including the opening of dedicated drainage centres.

Travis Perkins, one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants, acquired City Plumbing Supplies in 2002.

Charity Information

Three main charities benefit from the fundraising activities of City Plumbing Supplies’ employees – NCH, the children’s charity, Mencap and ENABLE (Scotland). Further information is available on the charity page.
